Phrases I enjoy that you should learn- "The 411"
Pronounced numerically i.e. “The four one one”, this is a slang term for “the information”. Originating from the US and Canadian number for directory assistance and information, it’s applicable to a wide variety of situations.

I was just reading a reply to a friend’s post on tumblr where he was feeling pretty bad about some stuff to do with a girl, and the respondent used the phrase “you deserve someone better”.
And I suppose this is supposed to be some kind of inspiring and empowering statement, intended to break the cycle of longing and regret and wishful thinking about the “what ifs”...
